Southport, NC

Southport is a waterfront town located on the mouth of the Cape Fear River. It receives a lot of tourism due to its quaint downtown and access to watersports. It is also the home to the Fort Fisher-Southport ferry. Nothing like a free river cruise. 

Southport Marsh Walk

This is a boardwalk that leads to a gazebo. It sits about where the intracoastal waterway meets the Cape Fear River.
