Spruce Pine, NC

Spruce Pine is a dump. People will try to tell you otherwise, don't listen. Ethan Allen forsook this town long ago and perhaps God followed suit. Okay, maybe not that bad. Areas around it are lovely though.

This scenic overlook is named "The Loops Overlook." The Loops is the name of the railroad that travels from Marion to Spruce Pine. The railroad features many turns and tunnels. Also here is the Orchard at Altapass.
